Brent takes photo booths to a new dimension
Brent Sales has added some welcome creativity to the photo-booth genre with the release of the BBC-licensed Dr. Who. The Tardis-themed product, unveiled for the first time at this week's London ATEI, has been developed by Brent, expertly manufactured using the latest technology by Fantasy Entertainment and licensed from the BBC.
After over 750 episodes across 45 years, Dr. Who has never been a more popular or more recognised brand. Brent's new TARDIS offers fans of the television phenomenon the chance to have a photo memento of their time with the Time Lord. While fully immersed in the ear-pricking Dr. Who soundscape, four photographs are taken, one selected and a favourite image generated. Thanks to a new dye sublimation print process, the vending of what is a high resolution, premium quality souvenir takes just 15 seconds. Customers are able to select their favourite background featuring the likes of the Cybermen, Daleks, Judoon and many more. John Brennan, Product Manager at Brent Sales, believes that Dr. Who has all of the credentials to be one of the hit coin-op products of the year. He explained: "Dr. Who is a massive brand whose appeal crosses cultures, social groups, gender and age. It's as likely to resonate with an eight year-old as it is a 48 year-old. The strength of the brand is matched by the quality of the product and the speed of the vend. We believe that the breadth of potential sites is limited only by footfall. Quite simply, if there's traffic it will take money." |
