Brent/Namco eyes top billing with Star Performance at ATEI 2009
Namco Europe, combining leading European amusements supplier Bandai Namco Games (BNG) and UK & Ireland distributor Brent Sales, is ready to stage an all-star debut line-up of amusement games at ATEI 2009, with leading roles being filled by a host of Triple A videogames, arguably the industry's foremost cast of prize and ticket redemption machines, industry-leading prize merchandisers and a growing roster of novelty/entertainment pieces covering every sector of family fun.
The star-studded collection includes no fewer than 13 games making their world debut, together with six European launches, amongst a variety performance encompassing more than 30 accomplished games. Videogame highlights include the first European outings of BNG's new sharpshooter Razin Storm and motorbike simulator Nirin. Appearing for the first time on the global stage will be a Superdeluxe 60-inch projector screen version of the renowned Safari hunting game, with another surprise world first from Raw Thrills also making waves on stand 2220. When it comes to redemption prowess, the company's long-standing exclusive partnership with ICE, together with its unique access to operational expertise through sister company Namco Operations Europe, puts Brent/Namco in an unrivalled position. With added impetus from its parent company's own product line, along with new additions from growing brands Family Fun, Jennison and Universal Space, the company's 2009 redemption portfolio is going to take some beating. Worldwide launches in this genre include: Knock Out Punch, a two-player punching game; Hat Trick a football-themed three-player coin roll down piece featuring rousing sound effects and heated playfield action, along with Tiger Bowl, a next-generation 10-pin bowling game which fuses the physical/video interface. Maiden appearances in the European market include two versions of Free Fallin', Intermission and Pee Wee Basketball. Still closely under wraps, one further worldwide unveiling on Brent/Namco's ATEI stand is, according to the company, set to move player experience into a new dimension, combining a hugely popular BBC-licensed phenomenon with collectable memento. Brent/Namco's prize merchandising suite has been strengthened for 2009 with new, small footprint, single-player versions of Barber Cut released, as well as a swathe of new merchandising and marketing set-ups for the redoubtable Clena-Flex. Representing an integrated, all-round amusement supply solution, Brent/Namco will be accompanied on their stand by spares, components and ancillary product provider Brent Electronic and Amutec, Namco Europe's kiddie rides division, which will itself be launching seven brand new products at the London show. |
